( Out of 4 years student has to undergo 1 & 1/2 year classroom training both in theory and practical which consist of 3 semesters followed with 6 months industrial training inside India or abroad in their concerned sector. After completion of IT, the student has to come back to the institute for appearing 4th semester examination. After completion of the 4th semester examination students has to undergo job training for a period of 1 year as well as will seat for 5th , 6th semester examination . In the end of 6th semester student will undergo campus selection and able to get placement as well as undergo 7th and 8th semester ( final ) examination. After completion of 8th semester, students has been awarded with degree certificate as well as final campus selection job .)
Coverage: The training is imparted in four areas: Front office, Housekeeping, F & B Service & Food Production. Students are also taught Law, Economics, Sales and Marketing, Accounts, Management, Tourism Marketing, Airlines Management, Event Management, Retail Management, Hospitality Industry, Travel Industry, Air Ticketing and a foreign language and, thus, equipped to manage every situation. This programme at NIHMT is affiliated to Utkal university of Culture and is recognised by UGC government of India.
